The mailart call "Blick aus dem Fenster / View from the window" attracted my attention as being straight forward and clear, but still full of choices. I decided it should be just what it asked for: a photograph taken out of my working room. Depending on the direction into which I take it I can see either a big wall or a view over the cite with the church in the background. I could wait for the weather to be rainy, sunny, cloudy. I could make the picture at noon, midnight, dawn, fall. I could emphasize the garden below, the sky above. Take a wide angle or a tele lense.

It did in fact not become a picture out of my window, but a picture of the rain drops on my window. Though cold and rainy outside it's warm and comfortable inside.
